[style=font-family:verdana; font-size:10px; text-align:justify; width:360px]summer is approaching quicker than most students had expected and as the first semester begins to wind down one can only expect the flood of exams that's always custom before any vacation break. tis the season for dusting off those books and forming study groups. the library is gradually stacking up with those diligent steadfast students who want to get started on reviewing class material. while the class a and class b students worry their heads over mathematical functions and english conjugations, the less studious classes c and d have already caught the summer fever and intend to enjoy the festivities that approaches with the increasing heat.JULY 5 - 7 - begins the class matches. students of each class form teams to compete in a various roster of sports. more information about this event as the week approaches.
JULY 7 - marks the day of japan's star festival tanabata. it takes place under the night sky where many celebrate by writing wishes or poetry on small strips of paper and tying them to bamboo. the bamboo wishes will then be sent down the river at midnight. its a perfect night for staying up late with a special someone or having a good time with friends.
JULY 17 - is when the famous kyoto festival takes place. colorful floats will fill the streets and there will be a stunning fireworks display after the parade and daily festivities.
JULY 20 - signifies the end of the first semester, completed with a closing ceremony and a school-wide cleaning.
JULY 21 - AUGUST 24 - includes the extent of summer break. while formal classes have been suspended until the next semester, students still come to school or the club practice that continues throughout the vacation. this is the perfect time for transfers and first years to wander around and familiarize themselves with their new school.
JULY 25 - 30 - is a week full of tests. hopefully you didn't forget about your studies after classes let out. term tests end on the last day.
