[style=font-family:verdana; font-size:10px; text-align:justify; width:360px]ONE - don't be a douche. being a douche can cause possible members to be like "oo.. nawh i don't wanna be around douches." and that's not good, because who would you plot with?

TWO - remember that word called respect? well, you'll need to be capable of having it around here. we do not tolerate any intentional rudeness, and if you seriously go out of line, there will be consequences.

THREE - no trolling of any kind. don't intentionally harm another person's feelings or ego. let's all go back to kindergarten and learn "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all."

FOUR - proper grammar at all times. if you're kidding around, it's one thing. but if you're absolutely incapable of using proper language, we won't deny your access to the site, but you may get corrected a lot, so don't flip out.

FIVE - follow the proboards ToS. no nudity or overly graphic things (this includes pictures AND roleplaying). if you want to roleplay your smut, take it to your own site and that can be deleted.

SIX - there is no minimum word count, but try not to do one liners and give your roleplay partner something to work with.

SEVEN - try to post at least once a week. or at least sign into your account(s) to make the staff aware that you're alive. we'll be lenient for a while if you're a new member, but if we know you have plots, we'll try to pressure you to act them out or post in some open threads.

EIGHT - going along with number two, don't harass other members to reply to you. it's extremely annoying an unnecessary. the person will get to it when they can. if it's been over a week, it's okay to ask them if they remember or something, but don't full out spam the cbox with "HEY GO POST FOR ME RIGHT NOW, K? (Y)". not to sound rude, but some people have lives to attend to.


NINE - no god modding or power playing. unfortunately, you cannot control your partner's character.

TEN - this site is a "one character per account" site, so you'll have to make a new account each time you make a character, but don't worry, we don't have the pesky account activation things.

ELEVEN - when you're getting down to making a character, try to avoid making mary sues and gary stus, otherwise known as "the goody two shoes" or "perfect" characters. face it, nobody is perfect. we won't persecute you for making NICE characters, but they must have some bad traits as well. if you're making a list on your application opposed to writing a paragraph, be sure to include five or more good and bad traits.

TWELVE -the title of the thread you place your app in should be the group that your character is in (i.e. first year, second year, faculty, etc) and it should be: "MEMBER GROUP, first last". PLEASE get this right. it's unnecessary work for us admins if we have to fix it.

THIRTEEN - your face claims MUST be from a show or game or something animanga. no original fanart will be allowed.

FOURTEEN - try to make your graphics used good quality. stay away from gifs, and your images MUST be of your character's face claim. your icons should be 100x100 pixels and your signatures should be no bigger than 560x350 pixels.

FIFTEEN - please have your character's account name be "last first" (japanese style) if they are japanese. if they do not have a japanese for some reason, this rule does not apply.
