I've been smiling like this for days, just to make up for my mistakes. In the dark, I watch everyone disappear, and I am beginning to let myself down.

LIKES: coffee competition the outdoors fooooooood! partying & alcohol DISLIKES: losing confined spaces blood / bleeding taking medicine his step mother OTHER: yuu's mother died when he was twelve, a fatal accident taking her life. on her way out of her office, she'd slipped on a wet floor, sending her tumbling down the stairs head first. even though yuu is obviously depressed about it, he tries to shove it to the back of his mind and live normally. however, the new woman in the house has made that difficult for him. well, not "new" really. his father quickly recovered from the initial shock of his wife's death (or maybe he was rebounding in denial) and soon married yuu's step mother, who he truly believes is the spawn of the devil. she tries her best to be a proper mother for him, but of course, he stubbornly locks himself in his room and avoids seeing her as much as possible. it doesn't help that she's now pregnant with even smaller, possibly more dangerous, devil spawn. because of this, he is also angry with his father, so it's easier to keep out of the house by shooting hoops and working.
