[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/Mq4Qw.png); padding:10px, BTABLE] FULL NAME: ryuu ken jo AGE: twenty-three GENDER: male ORIENTATION: closeted bisexual MEMBER GROUP: faculty CLUB &/OR SPORT: fencing OCCUPATION: english teacher PERSONALITY GENERAL: when first coming across ryuu, you may find his snarky disposition a bit put-offish, but once you're subjected to this attitude, one of two things happens. you either grow immune to his remarks and comments, or you begin to laugh at them, which causes him to back off just a bit and try another approach, keeping his remarks a bit less snide but still taking part in the art of sarcasm from time to time. he's not mean, he's just not the nicest person to be around if you're not too sure of yourself. whether you call it him trying to make you realize that you're actually much than what he's calling you, or just some sort of defense mechanism, his sarcasm is part of him and definitely it not going anywhere. of course, he can tone it down here and there, if he has to be respectful or if he's trying to make a better impression than the type he usually leaves it's not like he's trying to drive people away--some people really dig the snarky douchebags, you know?--he actually really likes people. he sees himself as a people person when he's not driving them away with his comments. he's had students laugh along with him, so he knows he's not terribly horrible to be around. he does, however, know that at this rate of people finding things to dislike in him, he's not going to find anyone who wants to be around him, and that almost scares him. old habits, though, are very hard to break, especially when these habits are things that make you who you are. LIKES: people in general teaching--despite any remarks he makes on a daily basis being outside--much better than being stuffed inside a classroom all day music--almost took over the art and music club's supervision slot but found fencing is much more active used to play guitar but hasn't picked one up in such a long time he's certain he's forgotten everything hearing himself talk, so he does it often fencing, because it's much more active and precise than other things he could have supervised DISLIKES: most forms of authority, unless they're paying him being called out on his attitude, he knows very well how he's behaving, thankyouverymuch punishment, having to deal it out, or being punished himself being taken advantage because of the fact that he doesn't quite discipline as much as he should. he does here and there, depends on how horrendous your offense is time, and wearing watches. and numbers. but just because they feel like limits and he dislikes limits as well, unless they're good limits, of course... though he doesn't quite know the difference between bad and good limits so he just hates limits as a whole. loud noises, makes it difficult for him to think and throws off his entire stance OTHER: got into fencing in college when he realized he had no form of self defense aside from his witty prattle and decided that swords were fun to play with. won a few tournaments, has one or two trophies, but doesn't really talk about fencing much unless he's instructing it. has never personally disciplined a student. not quite comfortable with his sexuality and doesn't plan on coming out any time soon. heterochromic, and for a while absolutely hated it, but has grown used to it by now, along with the remarks he gets about the things it does to his appearance, whether they be good or bad remarks.
